About the Erasmus + Games for School: Next Level project

The Erasmus+ Games for School: Next Level project is funded by the European Union and is an ongoing experiment led by 5 different countries to implement games and game mechanics as a larger part of classes.

The participating schools and countries are:

  • Collège Louis Pasteur, Jussey, and Ecole Maternelle de Vitrey-Sur-Mance, France
  • Osnovno uchilishte ''Ran Bosilek'' Bulgaria
  • Miejskie Przedszkole Publiczne Nr 6 W Boleslawcu
  • "St. Kliment Ohridski" Primary school- Bitola The Republic of North Macedonia
  • Fatih Sultan Mehmet Hastanesi Kopuzlar Vakfi Anaokulu Turkey

The project was initiated because as teachers, we feel that some of our students are not fully involved in their learning processes. The scope of the experiment is to check if the use of games or game mechanics can lead pupils to feel more involved at school and at home in their learning.

On this blog, some of the experiments will be presented to the general public. It can be seen as a source for ideas for fellow teachers and as a way to showcase the work we’ve accomplished so far.
