LTTA hosted
by Turkey (November 15-19 2021)
After many
months of uncertainty regarding the possibility to hold meetings, we finally
got to meet in person, thanks to the Turkish team who kindly welcomed all
participants. What a breath of fresh air! We all realized that it was after all
and despite an extremely tense situation regarding COVID to travel and work
together.
The
mobility allowed participants to share new practices regarding the development
of activities to encourage students’ autonomy. Activities were diverse and
included technology, pair control, teacher control, self-assessment. The
gamification systems allowed those activities to be either linked to a specific
project or compatible with to existing reward systems.
Participants
also provided a follow-up on the activities initiated during the first LTTA.
Cultural activities allowed participants to have a better understanding of Turkish culture. Schools and school representatives showed their will to collaborate closely with European institutions and insisted on shared educative values, as explained during a warm welcome by the director of the Atasehir school district.
